As you know, our next event is coming up: Make a Splash on March 13th!
Make a Splash is an event to raise funds and awareness for water and sanitation issues around the world organized by the Rotaract Club of Toronto. It will take place on March 13th at O.I.S.E, 252 Bloor St West, at 7pm and it will be divided into three parts: presenting WASRAG and updating us on their actions, swimming laps and true to Rotaract ways, mingling in a pub.
For the third edition of this event, we are again raising money for WASRAG in order to support water and sanitation projects around the world and to strengthen the links between Rotaract and Rotary.
The participation fee is $10, which also gives participants a chance to enter a draw and win great prizes. So, you don't have to swim, you don't have to be there to participate, just pay the $10 to one of our members and you'll enter the draw. Each $10 you donate or pledge to a member gets you an additional entry into the draw (i.e. if you pledge $100, you get 10 entries!). If you do want to swim, you’re more than welcome to join us, as we'll also have a prize for the swimmer who will swim the most laps!
In 2009, Make a Splash allowed us to raise $1,400 and we want to be able to raise more money this year.

Hope to see you in the pool !
