Bert Steenburgh: Bert is in favor of strenghtening the networking between our two clubs. He will send us a list of the GS attending the next Rotary luncheons, in case Rotaractors are interested. We suggested a Rotarian should be appointed to host Rotaractors at their luncheons so that we don’t feel like strangers.

Rotaract District Conference
21 ppl attended, it was fun. Very well organized. Vesna (Don Valley club) was elected DRR.
International Recipe Calendar
International versions – not done yet. Will be done by end of Dec.
Please bring your extra calendars on Sat at the Ugandan festival.
If you still have calendars and are not planning to attend the festival, please let Lavinia know.
Prizes: a prize for this year’s best seller to be awarded at Festivus.
Uganda Cultural Festival
Fundraising goal: $2,000.00
When: 11:00 AM on November 28th (volunteers need to be there at 10:00 AM)

Rotary Children’s Christmas Party:
· Toy drive – donated to Pat
· When: Saturday, December 5th starting 11:00 AM
· Where: Fairmont Royal York
· Call for volunteers – Chialing, Charmaine, Dana, Andrei, Amber, Shannon, Alix. Volunteers are invited to a Rotarian’s place for refreshments on Friday night.
International Convention:
June 18-19, 2010 in Montreal

Treasurer Business – Update
$1,500 to be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank for 2008/09;
$1,500 - 2009/10 money – Sandy Boucher;
