BoD MEETING OUTCOMES:
• Goals: by December 21st (active members, new members, funds raised, funds donated, causes supported, total hours volunteered, total projects undertaken, number of organisations supported, speakers, activities by quarter;
• New members: Chialing, Waruna, Charmaine, Bradley, Sasha, Dana, and Andrei Lezau;
• Svenja & Colin after participation in club projects;
• Executive Announcement:
o James is going to Montreal and will no longer be in Charge of Professional Development
o Anna can no longer serve as Treasurer.
o We are looking for volunteers for these two positions.
• Upcoming Events:
o Festivus (January 9th)
o Clothing Drive (February)
PROJECT UPDATES:
Rotary Children’s Party: It was a great event at the Royal York and was attended by a multitude of Rotaract clubs. An article is needed for the upcoming newsletter.
Recipe Calendar: Members have been selling calendars diligently for the past two months. Leftover calendars should be collected and returned to Lavinia. A prize will be awarded to the member who sold the most calendars at Festivus.
Uganda Cultural Festival: Our club raised over $1750 dollars. We are sending the funds to a Rotary club in Uganda. Alix is still waiting to find out specifically how to send the money to the club and updates are pending.
International Convention: Because of the change in our leadership Lavinia is gathering information concerning members who plan to attend.
Treasurer Business:
• Liz R. is still waiting to make our clubs donation to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank fiscal year 2008/09.
• WASRAG donation done on November 13th.
• The $15,000 Foundation money accrued $800 in interest.
• Members’ dues of $40 are currently payable to Anna.
o Members who went to the Rotary District Conference will pay a lower amount.
Micro-Credit Report: Sarah is gathering money and making additional loans. She will have a comprehensive report including stats since project start with Kiva.
Promo Items:
• Pins: Have been collected needs and will be awarded to the new members at Festivus.
• T-shirts - done.

• December 2009: Sarah is gathering news articles and will have the publication ready for Festivus.
Club Service:
• Holiday Celebration: December 21st at Swiss Chalet. Exact venue TBD.
• Festivus: January 9th at 6:30 PM. Bring an item you don’t want from your house to be given as a gift to a fellow member. Gifts should not be bulky.
Community Service:
Maria S. is looking into getting an event in the spring for community service and it should be a team event. Habitat for Humanity and Out of the Cold are currently under consideration.
Visitor Introduction:
Essa Afram: International Director for the Rotaract Club of Alexandria, Egypt. Discussed his club, the need for communication between various Rotaract groups, and presented some of his local projects.
