Each year, our club organizes a large fundraising event in support of a registered charity with lasting impact in the community. We engage with our members to select the cause and go all-out with the planning to ensure that it's a night to remember for the hundreds of guests at the event. The annual fundraiser is our biggest fundraising event each year and we hope to see you there!
The event
Are you longing for long summer days by the lake, sipping drinks while lounging on muskoka chairs? Then this event is for you! Come mingle with Rotaractors, Rotarians, friends, family and community members as you explore the Arta Gallery and all its displays, enjoy free luxury hand massages, while indulging on a delicious six-feet charcuterie board! Your ticket gives you full access to the gallery, the chance to win a signed a signed hockey stick as a door prize, appetizers and your first drink is on us. There will be a silent auction and a cash bar with two signature summer and winter cocktails designed especially for the event. All proceeds from the annual fundraiser will go to support Skylark and its programs.
The venue
Arta Gallery is nestled in the heart of Toronto’s Historic Distillery District. This important cultural and artistic center in Toronto has been home to Arta since it was established in 2003. With an outstanding vision to promote art in our daily lives and make many talented artists accessible to the Toronto community, Arta Gallery offers an impressive collection of contemporary work by both Canadian and international artists. The cause
Every year, our members actively engage in the decision process behind picking a charity to be benefited by our annual fundraiser: Any member is welcome to bring forward a registered charity of their preference. We then setup a "dragon's den"-style meeting where the charities are pitched for members to vote.
This year, we chose Skylark Youth, a leading Toronto-based charity dedicated to children, young people and their families struggling with complex mental health and developmental needs. Skylark believes that all young people, regardless of their developmental, social and psychological needs, are resilient and possess their unique strengths. Learn more about them here.

With over 90 years of experience, Skylark offers a comprehensive range of high quality mental health promotion, intervention and treatment services help young people gain the confidence they need to become productive, contributing members in their communities.
