You should also sign up for our events on Eventbrite or by filling out the sign up forms below. For any meetings, events or projects you have attended, please complete the Attendance Form. 

 

Become a Member

To quality for membership of the Rotaract Club of Toronto and join the Rotary community, we require that you fulfill the following criteria:

 

  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of qualifying for membership

  • Attend four (4) club or committee meetings within three (3) months

  • Participate in two (2) club activities, specifically: two committee service projects or events, two fundraising events, two leadership or organization of a club or committee service project or event or any combination of two of the aforementioned activities

However, if you were recently a member of another Rotaract or Rotary club we require that you fulfill the following criteria:

 

  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of qualifying for membership

  • Provide a letter from the president of your former Rotaract club confirming your status as a Rotary/Rotaract member in good standing within the last 4 calendar months, however defined by your club’s bylaws

Once you qualify for membership, which we will let you know by e-mail or you can email us to verify, then you must do the following to be considered members: 

  • Pay the pro-rated membership fee

  • Fill out the club member directory form

All current and prospective club members can get involved in committees to exchange ideas and bring their most ambitious projects to life however only current members can be elected or appointed as Committee Chairs. To get involved in a Committee we encourage you to attend the committee meetings and join us on Slack

The Community Service Committee aims to identify opportunities to plan and implement activities or service projects designed to create sustainable change that directly benefits the local community, which involve all or most of the club membership.

The Environmental Action Committee aims to promote educational and awareness building activities about the environment, build partnerships with other groups to advance Rotary’s interest in the environment, and promote policies and best practices for greening Club’s activities. The Diversity, Ethics and Inclusion Committee aims to create, enforce and protect equitable practices and environments within Rotaract Club of Toronto. If you have any concerns of an ethical nature please email ethicstorontorotaract@gmail.com

The International Service Committee aims to identify opportunities to plan and implement activities or service projects designed to create sustainable change that directly benefits the international community, which involve all or most of the Club membership. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion aims to create, enforce and protect equitable practices and environments within Rotaract Club of Toronto.

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee Chair manages the documentation, recording, communication, and coordination of all ethics complaints submitted to the Rotaract Club of Toronto.

International Service Committee Chair

The International Service Committee aims to identify opportunities to plan and implement activities or service projects designed to create sustainable change that directly benefits the international community, which involve all or most of the Club membership.

The International Service Committee Chair manages the planning and implementation of volunteer events, projects, and initiatives related to the global community.

The Professional Development (PD) Committee aims to provide a comprehensive professional development program designed to expand professional networks, allow members to exchange ideas with other leaders, and build skills through leadership training.

The Professional Development Committee Chair manages the planning and implementation of volunteer events, projects, and initiatives related to the professional development of the club’s members, including organizing speakers for club meetings.
